Cipriani was founded in Venice in 1931 and operates in 19 cities around the world. Batumi will be added to this list next to New York, London, Monte Carlo, Dubai, Miami and other cities.

The guest of honor at the presentation was football legend Ronaldinho, who bought an apartment in the new complex and became the first owner of the project. The General Director of Orbi Group handed him a symbolic key.

Information about Cipriani's arrival in Batumi was spread before: in 2025, Bloomberg wrote that the company was planning to develop a new resort in Batumi.
